Trash Friends Tarot
Since November 2022, I've been working on illustrating my own Tarot deck. (I got the idea while traveling 300 miles of terrifyingly icy roads - go figure.)
This deck incorporates Rider-Waite symbolism and gives it a trashy twist. In this story of the Tarot, our guides are a lovable crew of animal companions traveling the path of the Fool.
Each suit is characterized by its own animal:
- Treasure-loving raccoons represent Pentacles
- Prickly porcupines and their quills represent Swords
- Curious skunks with sticks represent Wands
- Mischievous possums rooting around in trash cans symbolize Cups

Where are we at?
I often get folks asking when the Trash Friends Tarot deck will be released.
Right now, we do not have a date for production, as it's still early in the game.
This is a BIG project, and we're really just on the first step of the journey. Drawing 78 cards takes a lot of time, but that gives us time for this project to reach more people!
